Just starting on Flim 4 - Bob Hoskins at his brilliant best and a fascinating look at Docklands in London on the cusp on redevelopment
Brilliant. Apparently brosnan and Hoskins weren't in the taxi at the same time either, brilliant music. Hoskins imagined in his head the story when they filmed the close up of his face, great realisationGreat film. Very much of its time. One of the best closing scenes in cinema history.

Yes, I hear Bob Hoskins talk about that scene on some talk show, Wogan most likely. They never met until years after that scene was filmed. Hoskins in London, Brosnan in LA. Incredible, given the intensity of the scene.Brilliant. Apparently brosnan and Hoskins weren't in the taxi at the same time either, brilliant music. Can’t help thinking how much he reminded me of Alan Sugar in that last scene in tonight’s film.I remember Bob Hoskins from On the Move up until his death - for me a much underrated actor
