The luckiest City fans in our history

My first match was ‘93. We have come a long way, as has the EPL in general. We won’t maintain this streak forever. There is a lot of money streaming in that isn’t ours, and Pep will not stay forever, and KDB will get old. It has been a fun last 10 years or so. Don’t take any of it for granted.
Money that isn’t ours?

Disagree completely -the ride us FOCs have had is incredible -just look at all the media talk about Luton’s progress just to get in the EPL (impressive though it is) to our journey to where we are now (which the MSM studiously
ignores)
What I meant was that they are lucky not to have ever had the shit times (they may still get them who knows ?), they just turn up to watch us score 3/4/5, it's easy living for them.

OK mate -just me being a pedantic OC!

We are definitely lucky to have seen so much success though I do feel the 'new' fans and foreign fans take it all for granted. At the parade I heard a few teens say we HAVE TO get treble next year or quadruple and anything else is failure. I hate that attitude, just like I hated united fans saying it in 90s. For me I wanted one major trophy, then the 2012 title was a bonus. I've loved all the trophies don't get me wrong but we shouldn't become spoilt by success like Man U fans. Its never been about success for me, its the memories with my dad and supporting city regardless of results and league. The club would do well to remember us 'legacy' fans become more become disillusioned.

The younger ones don't get it. I'm talking the ones born from say 1998 onwards. They believe all the shite they are fed on Twitter and mainstream media.

Enjoy the club for what it is. When the lads in their 50s and 60s die off, the club will change hugely with more and more further afield fans at games. The younger ones are very raggish as they've not seen the team suffer at all in their lives.

They're the ones who'll make money off YouTube when we're shit - having meltdowns when we're struggling for top four and going out of cups early. We'll have our own version of AFTV.

That 4-3 at QPR with Beagrie magic that night was one of my favourite City aways.
Me too -an absolutely fantastic night when the (misplaced as it turned out!!) optimism of what to was to come was high
