We're still going round in ever decreasing circles. No team needs XI world class players. Only on Football Manager do manager's get that kind of freedom/finance/squad. It stung losing on Tuesday particularly in the manner in which we did lose. But if anyone tries to say that it is indicative of why we won't win the CL or don't have a top squad then they are either a liar or are setting an unrealistic standard.

We have the tools to achieve our goals. That's all I'm trying to say.

real madrid squad has more than XI world class players.

I don't care. Real Madrid have always been Real Madrid. They had XI world class players during the Galacticos era when they won fuck all. Means nothing. Anyway get the excuses in early is what this is all about - i can see it.

Sure, lets call it semantics. I'm pretty sure that Khaldoun and our owners will fall on my side of the fence. That's why we didn't sign De Rossi Van Persie etc. No doubt you Italians know better than everyone. So when we fuck you all off you can say "I told you so".

thanks to God (and unfortunally for you) you have been proved wrong all the times .

Yes, and it's the internet. And it's a forum. So e v e r y bo d y can think what they like. Doesn't change the fact that a) we didn't sign De Rossi Van Persie etc. and b) you are getting your excuses in early. You're just not as smart as you think you are, but beyond that I now encourage you to continue posting in the manner in which you do. I've seen many many many many many Johnny Come Lately's fly through this place.

They won a lot during the Galactico period. Including 2 league titles and 2 CL titles. Their downfall was when they stopped buying world class players and bought BIG NAME players. There is a big difference. Turning down Ronaldinho, because he was not handsome enough to sell shirts (ironic since Ronaldinho probably 3rd biggest player after Beckham and Ronaldo), selling Etoo to get Owen for shirts etc.

If you look at the CL winner squads over the last 13 or so years, 70% of nearly an entire team of world class players.

No they didn't, they won two La Liga's and one CL. In the immediate years after Perez's appointment. After that they won nish for how long?

Ah yes, because what we should do is sit on our hands whilst newbie's who've supported City for 2 minutes swan around the forum telling us that everything and everyone is shit and our owners need to give our poor little rich boy manager another ten billion to spend on players or we'll never compete with the likes of the mighty Real Madrid.

Yes if you want to be pedantic about when they officially started the 'Galatico' project, but Real Madrid have ALWAYS run the Galatico project all the way back to the days of Di Steffano and them winning 5 CL titles.

The Galatico policy failed due to buying the big names and world class players. Rumours at the time were Del Bosque got sacked, because he wanted Canavaro and Nesta instead of Beckham.
