Huge test of Pelligrini today.. Man for Man we outclass them in 7 of 11 positions .So its tactics, leadership, motivation and desire that will count today. We can assume rub of the green and refereeing mistakes will favour them .
Moyes Everton sides were successful against us mainly because his sides wanted it more than us ..There is no room for complacency today ,I'd like Pelly to inspire the team today to deliver the reality that we are better than them.

United tried to win the April 2012 game by outnumbering us in midfield. It wasn't a great success

Best of luck to the boys in blue today as we are due some but I hope in effect we don't need it and win with passion , skill and drive that sends out a message we are here to stay.

It won't be the end of the world if we don't get the three points although it will seem like it for a few days but we need to put in an inspired performance and make our home continue to be that fortress we developed in our championship year.

The away form and results are for another day but we have a difficult run of games coming up and we need to stay in touch.

No idea how some of you can be calm and confident going into a derby. Would much rather it was the early kick off, get it out of way then concentrate on either celebrating or drowning sorrows.

It's a big day for Pellegrini in that it's his first derby, but ultimately we can recover from any result. It's not like a cup final or our home derby during our title run in. These games are often decided by a lucky call or simple desire than any tactics or planning. You can never call these things in advance, doesn't matter how the team's line up on paper.

I agree with that; having to wait so long for ko on a non-work day is a nightmare; get it done with early, so the whole day isn't ruined.

Anyway, let's hope Garcia & Rodwell nowhere near the team.

Bring it on!!
