The match day buzz never leaves.

I get no buzz any more.
It's long gone.
I went on Saturday.
Could have easily stayed in tge pub before the game
Too much money in the game.
To many tourists.
To much time wasting.
Look at the spurs keeper on Saturday in the first half.
Nothing wrong with him buts lie down let's have a team talk.

I stood there thinking what the fuck is going on
Roll us yer cap.

Is it to the tune of 4 Non Blondes?

Sorry but it's not the same I'm 63 now and a 14 year old kid coming from Knutsford on the train with mates walking up the kippax stairs to see the pitch smell all the smells hear all the voices, songs that was a thrill and is not the same as going to the match today, do I love still going absolutely yes.
The smell of stale piss from the Kippax Street toilets.

The only thing that has changed is for many seasons now I’ve never found it a prerequisite to get pissed as a fart before the game. Saturday however got slaughtered in town great atmosphere in all the pubs and took me back to many years in the Gardners pissed every home game staggering into the Kippax usually 15 mins into the game and being oblivious to how bad we were or the result. Saturday was all about getting back into the Edinburgh Castle and another very expensive pint of Guinness as soon as the torture of the game was out of the way

To be fair the **** had broken his ankle but I get your point.

I still get the buzz like it was yesterday I saw the pitch as green as you like when you get to the top of the steps at Maine Rd.
It is very satisfying feeling when seeing the highlighted green grass above the steps.

Not the same going to the game for me anymore. Far too much razzamatazz at football now hence why I cut back on night games this season as I actually really detest them with all the hassle.

Not excited about tonight at all and I’ll be sat watching on TV.

I think the pinnacle for me was reached in Istanbul to be honest.
Same for me to be honest. Came out of the CL scheme this season as I was bored rigid at CL games last season and hated all the rushing around on a work night. Seriously thinking about ditching my season ticket after this season as I just don't get that buzz anymore, even for derby games.

Football generally, and City, have become corporate & soulless.

You don't have to go to the stadium to get the buzz. There will be blues all over the world who have the same feelings.
Sorry, but I can't get any buzz for a televised game. I'm up for it at kick-off, but not pre-match.
Currently in the ground waiting to boo the UEFA ditty.
