Spot on mateNever the same for me once we left Maine Rd. The pubs in Moss Side and Rusholme. The Whitty, the Welcome and the Bee Hive especially, the chance to drown your apprehension in good draught bitter. Doesn't seem the same I'm town even, when we head east rather than south. CTID but something was lost when we left Maine Rd which I don't seem to be able to find.
SherwoodThere are many older blues who would return in a flash if they could and I am one of them. If I had one football we ish it would be to walk up the Kippax steps and sing my heart out. Alas
Here's a question I've asked several times but never got the answer. If you walked out of the Kippax towards the junior school on the left of it 100 yards or so past there was a Wilson pub on the corner I'd drink in now and again. Do you know name?

First game fifty five years ago , If it wasn’t for meeting mates in town for a beer I’d call it a day , hate the whole concept of the “match day experience “ and corporate bullshit , it’s now a game with no soul .I left at half time tonight totally bored out of my skull. Regular since 1996 and home and away from 2007-2013. Unfortunately for many the match day buzz has been totally lost
