The Media Against Pep?

If you want to understand how tedious and ridiculous the football media is here just take one look at the morning reporting of Pep saying - like any man would - that this maybe his last coaching job. The press have taken those words completely out of context and blown it up to "Pep will quit, Pep is losing it" talk. He merely is stating a fact that in three years maybe more he will consider his position. I once met Vicky Kloss and whereas she is down to earth, I felt she was not dynamic and took an approach of "I will put fires" out rather than controlling the content coming out of the club. Mancini tried to change this by challenging both the players and media team and we all know who won that particular argument. In my opinion this needs to change quickly, and as others have eluded to, we need to rally round as one against these old fashioned, whiskey swilling, champions of the crap football we serve up via our national team.

The club wanted Pep for years now is the time to come out and support him and make it clear we won't take this shit!

He said as much years ago, he said somewhere he'd promised his wife a short intense coaching career then maybe academy work somewhere.
I've been convinced for ages we would be his last club job, then maybe take the Qatar team for the world cup there, then a backseat somewhere. That would see him with us until end of 2019 /20, four seasons.
Its all very old news.

Pep has stated he won`t be a team coach after the age of 50,see various quotes whilst at Bayern and even Barcelona and also Pep Confidential.
I think he will be with us till he reaches that age, four and half years time and then will be offered the role of heading up our academy with a world wide brief

The media are just shit starers as always, unfortunately Pep can not say how he feels in fear of a fine or words twisted. Ah well the modern game where everything but the 90 minutes on the pitch is important !

That fits, four seasons with us would take him to 50, he could well head up our academy, but wouldnt be surprised to break for taking Qatar in world cup, either way non of this is new to anybody that does a bit of background research. Or is just a proffesional journalist.

I've stated this many times before, even with Bayern fans - Pep is not staying at City longterm. City is a pitstop in his tour of the footballing world, it too will come to an end. I also agree that he will not coach indefinitely and of course will return home in some capacity
