The Mirror

Re Aguero I don't believe it. Re Balotelli, why are people so sure this is not true? Anyway it's next topic on Sunday supplement

Our media team will send a letter of complaint tomorrow with love hearts and everything. The Mirror will acknowledge it and if the Mario story is false, print an apology in small print. The next week they will print another story of turmoil at City and get the same pleasant letter of complaint. And the cycle will continue endlessly.

Wrong our media team = PR department only exist to offer grovelling appoligies to the scum. If any department at city need revamping its this one. It wouldnt surprise me if it is this lot who are the so called "muck spreaders"!

What do people think of Oliver Holt, personally i think he is a mixed bag. He writes a lot of shite about City, but everynow and then comes up with something good about us.

Stockport County fan but dont hold that against him.

This coming from the same wonderful newspaper that dedicated 3/4 of a front page to its Xmas TV Guide while tagging on at the bottom a few lines about a shooting in America.

The club should ignore minor stories like these. If they don't then papers will print stuff to find out if a rumour is true. For example, suppose the club came out and denied the Balotelli story. It would imply the Aguero story is true. Before long, it becomes a full time job and creates more trouble than it's worth.

We saw all these stories last year. A few may have some basis is truth, most don't. Frankly, we should steer clear of being drawn into doing the papers' dirty work for them.

Blues, please don't click the links to this shite !

Don't give them the advertising revenue.
no need to beg..... i don t look at scum!!!

Where the hell do they dream this shit up at all. this is the reason that i have not bought a single newspaper since we won the FA Cup.

The treatment and lies that we receive from the press beggars belief.

What a load of tossers

They just google in a load of utter shite and come up with that - with the levels of unemployment around Europe it´s a travesty people like this get fook cushy numbers , scratching their spotty arses in front of a screen
They can lick my scrotum clean , then floss their teeth with my cold, wiry, pubic hair

May I ask why anyone would read any paper, watch shite like sunday supplement or that rubbish on a saturday where bitter old men moan all time? Just ignore them!

You could be talking about Bluemoon there mate! :D

Why should we ignore consistently negative or incorrect stuff written or said about our club?

Surely a place like this is exactly where we should be highlighting and discussing everything said about the club.

Unless these stories are true they are both clearly libellous. To suggest that Mario is suing his own club disparages his reputation. To suggest that Sergio is unhappy with his boss and has indicated as much privately also disparages his reputation. It is up to City to take tough action..and that means suing the Mirror. Any damages we win can be paid to Manchester Children's Hospital. If City do not take action then we have to accept that there may be some substance to these stories...no matter how unlikely it seems. If the Mario story is true then it will have to come out into the open at some stage. It is a mistake to dismiss these stories because they are in the Mirror (which is a joke publication). They get followed up across the world and that damages our brand. It undermines everything we as a club are trying to do. The Mirror would never publish a similar story about, for example, the CEO of a multinational company. The reason is they would fear being sued by an organisation with deep pockets. It's time City adopted a more aggressive approach.
I an not advocating a return to the belligerence of our previous PR regime which caused us problems. We just need to adopt a calm professional approach which protects our brand at all times

The club should open its own newspaper follow the shitbag journoes get some dirt on them plaster it all over the country, Andy Dunn today tried to put the club in a positive light saying that the etihad project was fantastic sat at the side of him was Dillon from the express is face went like a trophy winning gurner trying to override Dunn without success when ashton realised what was happening he held up the paper saying kolorov is under investigation then quickly followed by when we come back bla bla bla advertisements, priceless love to see the shitbags squirm
