I agree but why is it used by the same race? But when a "white" person makes a comment it's deemed as racist?

It's probably because white folk used the N-word (and similar terms) as a way to discriminate, demoralize and segregate black people from the rest of Western society for around 200 years.

But now times have moved on, black people have reclaimed the word, stamped their own definition on top of the old one and use it as they see fit. I see no problem with that whatsoever.
