Back to the NHS,i suggest everyone thinks what life would be like without it

Both my parents,and my wife's parents all died of cancer within 5 years,2012-2017.
The care given by the nurses and doctors,especially at the hospices,was brilliant.
I still think the nhs is doomed to become,at the very least, partly privatised.
Once you are thought of as a "customer" that's eventually what you become.

Indeed,if there were no drs at the surgery he needed to call an ambulance,the receptionist aren't allowed to just do that unless a dr says they can
Utter rubbish,if a patient presents with Chest Pain then common sense/basic human decency dictates that a 999 call should be made.

You most certainly should not be told to make your own way to casualty.As an alleged former nurse,i'm surprised at your thinking.

The surgery/Gp also disagree with you.

Yes,staff 99% of the time perform a fantastic role for a wage that rarely reflects their dedication and expertise.
