The NHS

Perhaps we would be backed into a corner in a trade deal ? The price of doing business

I mean it’s not like we’d be daft enough to not make amazon pay its proper taxes is it..

Forced? You mean like threat of a nuclear strike? Or US troops on the ground landing in Cornwall? Get a fucking grip.

We're not agreeing to paying 25x more for our drug, for fucks sake. I don't think you actually believe it really, you're simply trying to frighten people.

We would start with making small concessions at first but year on year it would become larger. I mean you say it’s bonkers and nobody in their right mind would pay it but the American people do every fucking day of the week. Can’t believe how naive you’re being lol

and Johnson will be handing out contracts like confetti to all his high flying mates, you wait. The rich profiting off the poor never ever happens

You're smoking crack, Bob.

The only way we agree to pay 10p more for our drugs is if we get 11p in return. Otherwise why do it. Then there's the small matter of us getting 90% of our drugs *not* from US companies.

The NHS is pretty shit, but at least it's efficient at buying drugs, and we are not going to throw that away. Take the red coloured specs off FFS.

Only if you take your blue ones off.

Scofield had him saying for definate he would not let the yanks get a hold in the NHS,then reeled off the stats for the parts of the service that they have a stake in it and said you have been in power for 10 yrs so you already done it,he blustered and blamed labour,he also got told the facts about how much it would cost for immigrants to pay to come here and be a nurse,£10,000 pounds, boris said well if they come here they have to pay to use the services, stupid personified

Bob, get a grip. Why on EARTH would we agree to pay 25x as much for US drugs? Why? It would be mad for us to do that, would it not. We're not going to do it.

Because Tory party members have stakes in private health companies and will be given golden handshakes by the Americans. Or call me a cynic...

Except the NHS isn’t pretty shit.

It might be inefficient in areas and need a revamp in certain aspects but it is far from being shit.

I’d go as far as saying it’s the greatest institution in this country and arguably the world.

The nurses question is incredibly misleading. My current line manager is a former NHS manager and his wife is a nurse now.

They have enough applicants but it’s down to poor management. His belief is that they don’t need to import any more and those 5000 that have apparently left due to leaving the EU isn’t as big an issue as made out.

I have absolutely no idea if he’s right or not but for the record he’s a former LibDem voter, who nearly became a candidate for them, who now disagrees with revoke and so is voting Green.

I say this to show he’s not biased, he believes passionately in the health service.
