The Non-Moaners Thread

92 teams in the football league..all supported proudly..all hoping for success..we can not win everything..we have won more than I ever imagined possible..just one trophy for many teams is more than enough..look at Newcastle, Leeds, West Ham..nothing for years, but great clubs..truthfully, if we never won another trophy I would die happy as the last 12 years have been the greatest following City..I hope we will win more, but I never expect..life and football is cyclical, but true blues will follow the club through thick and thin.

Sport is about winning not just taking part , if you are in it dont fuck with a winning formula , to me there is no glory in coming second
Come on, it's not like we have had 1 winning formula all season. Pep adjusts permanently, both with personnel and tactically. Yesterday it did not work, but I think we should consider that maybe this was also down to the opponent being really good. This idea that when we lose it is only because Pep fucks up I find quite disrespectful both to how difficult a job Pep and our players are doing, and to the team that beat us. And I still don't believe you really mean what you said :-)

Very happy to be on this thread.

Spending the weekend at ‘home’ in the NW - desperate to avoid having to watch last nights game with Chelski fans.

Took my Boy to Maine Road for the first time today & stood on the centre spot. My first time back since 2003 & It was nice to keep it all in perspective on how far we’ve come since - PLUS remember all those who weren’t able to join this recent journey of unprecedented success. My Grandad who took me to my 1st game in 1977 being one.

It felt emotional.

Well I for one am extremely happy with what we achieved this season.
  • Premier League Champions
  • League Cup Winners
  • FA Cup Semi-Finalists
  • Champions League finalists
I have nothing to moan about a couple of disappointments and Aguero departing is all that I can come up with.

After talking to my son this morning I am even more proud of our Club. On the flight to Porto they had a full breakfast served, when they landed they were given a packed lunch, and on the return flight they were served up with a curry.

What a bloody fantastic Club we are privileged to support.
I've not been anywhere near the media for over 24 hours but l am sure they mentioned how well we have done again and made positive comments about how well our owners looked after the fans. Excuse sarcasm.
I woke in the middle of the night and looked on that Flight Radar site and saw the continuous line of planes big and small en route from Oporto to Ringway returning bringing back our team and fans home like in a war film about the RAF.
I hope Pep told the UEFA officials we will be back for next year's final.
