The none miserable bastards thread

People really need to get the sand out of their vaginas. We're second in the league, unbeaten with 5 wins and 2 draws. Chelsea West Ham and Newcastle away out of the way. Picking up from last season we are currently a club record 30 League games without defeat. 4 points from 2 in Europe including an easy away win.

All this without our 2 best players, our best defender injured and last years player of the season missing in action.

I actually fear for some of you when Pep moves on and we drop a level for real.

In a similar vein; People really need to get the sand out of their vaginas, some people are capable about openly discussing things that might just be a bit negative without panicking like Pep’s going to read Bluemoon and resign tomorrow.

There's only one thing worse than a perpetually moaning miserable bastard, and that's a perpetually upbeat noise policeman who demands everyone be as perpetually upbeat as they are.
Ill stick to being an inbetweener and veer left or right as my mood sees fit, thanks.
if you read what i put im not either of those, the thread was a counterpoint to the continuing negativity surrounding everything at the mo, im the first to admit we arent at our best but there is positives to take as well.

there is a bit negative and there is maddeningly negative and that is my point, i think it is quite obvious we arent perfect at the moment but some of the negativity is off the scale i was just trying to put a counterbalance to that and yes miserable bastards was probably a bit strong but i was saying it in a joking term which obviously doesnt come across well.

No doubt we have short term issues Pep is going to have to come up with a solution to, Rodri is a huge miss and would be for any team.I just wish people would have a bit of faith in the best manager of all time rather than throwing a tantrum and writing the season off in October because we only won by one goal at home and conceded a few chances.

It’s hardly continuing negativity surrounding everything. It’s just discussion. In many ways, it’s actually more interesting discussion than just, ‘that was great that, we’re great us’.

Seeing points raised that make you think on about where we’ve been, where we are and where we might head - both negative and positive - is really good stuff.

really have you read some of the stuff on here, so in your opinion its actually better to focus on our deficiencies than what is actually going well. we have enough people doing that already for us they are called the press, but hey each to their own, i was just trying to be a counterbalance and say while not everything is great there is still some good stuff too.

I dont disagree with you but my point is that there has been a seemingly glaring lack of positivity even tho we won so i was saying yes we aint been perfect but there is some positive things too.
