A long day that I believe for the boys as they were there and back in less than 24 hours.For some reason they didn't go out the day before but started at something like 5 am from a hotel in Manchester,flew out and played the game that evening. Looked like they were very leggy in the 2nd half and that wouldnt be a surprise.
We can get beat 10-0 every week if we start to produce world class players over the next years. as nice as it is have a winning team, its not what the eds is about, its about creating players of good enough quality to play first team football. of course the higher the standard of your first team the harder it is to find and train young players up to this advanced standard.
if we get one a year to come through we will have done an unbelievable job.
to add to this, this year has been a major step up from playing stockport, bury and the like
