Chris Chantler always impresses me when I see him even if he doesnt quite have what it takes for the top level.I am surprised he hasnt managed a loan deal somewhere. Loves to attack,always 100% and scored a cracker tonight.

Rekik clearly has quality but not great tonight I didn't think. Seemed assured most of the time but not pressured that much.One occasion in particular he lost out badly.

Roman has tons of quality but tonight was a bit mixed. Fairly lost in the first half and gave the ball away badly to let them break for the first goal.Better 2nd half and could have scored.

Harry Bunn is quality and direct.Super goal from 20 yards,went close from 30 and but for a great save would have scored earlier.I like the runs he makes and he threatens from anywhere if he gets the ball under control near the box.

Assulin has good quality,touch and pace and I would love to see him with good players.

In the first half today we had Mancini and Scapuzzi in midfield with Razak sitting deep. Assulin with those 2 in particular had very little to play with.This was probably the best game I have seen Mancini play but I still think he was poor and doesnt deserve another game. Scapuzzi I think was being tested in the middle of the park and for me it just didnt work.When Alabdellaoui came on for him in the 2nd half things seemed a lot better.

Meppen Walters like Rekik seemed untroubled for much of the game but was caught out badly when they scored the first. He sold himself badly in a one to one and the guy just ran past him and scored.

Bradley Robinson got 10 minutes and had a mare ,including giving the ball away for the 2nd goal.He was given the midfield role when Bunn went off with Mancini going up front on his own.That ended our attacking!!

Suarez looked good in his 30 minutes or so. Lovely touch and another I would love to see with better players around him.

I'd agree with most of the above and might add the odd bit.

Chris never compains or stops working. Possibly over exposed in the first half with Assulin and Andrea nearest to him. Always did better pushing forward and in winger/wing-back roles. Scored an absolute cracker.

Rekik looked strong and very comfortable on the ball. Did have that one major fck up but apart from that you can see him getting far.

Roman is excellent with the ball at his feet. Might need to improve workrate and/or positioning when not in posession though.

Razak had a bit of a job on his hand with scapuzzi and mancini either side of him against a pretty well organised burnley side. The odd mistake here and there. Might need to get his vocal cords working a bit more and organise (own) the middle of the park.

Robinson will hopefully not let this affect him and will continue to work hard because I am sure he will get plenty more chances.

Suarez, Suarez, Suarez. This is the bit that really worries me to be perfectly honest. Fantastic ball control, has vision, gets up and gets on with it after getting hacked, the guy just oozes class. As soon as you see him running with the ball you know he is a player. However, in my view he had a bit of a bad game today. The odd misplaced pass, getting caught in possesion, half-hearted challenge, etc. And this is not because he is shit or not trying - it is because it is obvious that he is lacking match sharpness. Can someone who is clued up please tell me if he has been injured or something? Is he still in the process of regaining fitness? Because this lad has to play full games - not come on in 2nd half like the last two games. I was watching him come on and he almost looked lost and although he was trying you could see him getting frustrated and making more mistakes as there were either no options for him or he was getting caught out. How the fck can Andrea (who had a decentish game - but just isn't at this level due to lack of mobility) play 90 minutes when we know that he will never in a million years make the grade in the senior team. On the other hand this lad Suarez certainly has the potential - just give him the bloody chance. Why did we bring him in if we are not going to try and develop him? Sorry about this rant - I feel better now.

p.s. our current eds side could play in lower divisions and do allright imo.

without offence but sometime it seem to me you guys are just rating and loving the triers and the fighters and i really feel bad for you becouse i can see your frustration having to watch all this "continentals" lads that are almost all lazy , dont get stuck in , and dont run around like headless chiken. bad times for you.

I join you on the baffled comments. I am not aware that Suarez has been injured and if inot it is very strange that Mancini gets 90 minutes compared to his 30 or whatever.

This argument doesn't work as Roman is adored by EDS fans and is more "continental" than the fish out of water known as Andrea Mancini. Scapuzzi has also gotten some good early reviews.

Andrea Mancini is just an awful footballer though, as much as it may hurt for someone who loves Mancini so much he supports City because of him. If he wasn't awful, it would be great, a Mancini to play in the first team - but just like his older brother Filippo, he looks made for the Italian 4th division.

To quote someone from the Alderley Edge Hub of Football who has worked in the game for years about Andrea Mancini.

Andrea Mancini is a joke of a player and its a disgrace that he would take a place of a proper player in need of development.
