Probably not, not everyone wants hughes out, this is their chance to have their say. We all needed that, most of all hughes. They looked fired up and as I have said before every team has a bad run every season, imagine if we just pulled out of ours after two good victories against the elite. Me personally neither in or out just enjoying the ride.

Why? Even before the Arsenal game it showed that more fans wanted Hughes in than wanted him out. If anything it stops the Hughes outers, who tend to shout loudest, from claiming that they have the backing of most fans when clearly they dont

Credit where it is due to Hughes

His tactics, team selection and substitutions were bang on today.

Also great credit must go to him for resisting the temptation to shift Lescott to left back when Bridge went off. Lescott played Drogba as well as anyone I have seen today. Putting Barry there and bringing on Vince to shore up the midfield was a masterstroke.

I have been a big critic particularly the last 4 or 5 games but today immaculate.
