Re: Credit where it is due to Hughes

just what we needed, should be over that dodgey patch

Nice one Hughesy and the lads, got everything spot on again today! This is starting to come together now, defense is looking better and better, we're looking more like a team and the atmosphere is improving. Stick together boys and girls this is going to be a great ride!

Not sure what it says about the players faith in hughes when they appear to make tactical changes themselves, kompany on for bridge, lescott to LB kompany to CB, barry comes along and sends kompany to CM taking over the LB spot himself in what was the obvious move to start with.

Now why would you say something so patently untrue?

The way it looked to me was lescott thought he was meant to go to left back but then Kompany said no barry was going there and he was going centre mid

Hughes Out Poster

I am so impressed by the last two performances. He seems to have suddenly been told to get off his arse and try to influence the game/the ref, etc. If MH is to make it, this is how it has to be. And by the way, I loved his dismissive treatment of Wenger on Wednesday.

Hughes Inners - all the rest of us needed was a sign that he knew what he was doing.

I'm now happy to join the believers.

The Bolton game will define Hughes' City for me. We've shown today quite clearly that we can beat anyone and we need to follow it up with a win against a poor Bolton team if we want to finish top 4.
