Re: Hughes Out Poster

I am so impressed by the last two performances. He seems to have suddenly been told to get off his arse and try to influence the game/the ref, etc. If MH is to make it, this is how it has to be. And by the way, I loved his dismissive treatment of Wenger on Wednesday.

Hughes Inners - all the rest of us needed was a sign that he knew what he was doing.

I'm now happy to join the believers.

My thoughts, but put better than I could.

dont understand why we cant perform like that in the league.

Might be something to do with the quality of the opposition.

Great to be in a semi final, but our strongest side beating a combination of Arsenal reserves and youth team players does not hearld the dawn of a great new era.

Was that opposition good enough?

After 7 draws in the league in a row, I must admit, I was questioning whether Hughes was the man to take City to the next level. But, 2 good performances and I am a little bit more convinced. As Shaun Goater put in his programme notes the other day, "If a City slump is 7 draws in a row, then we are going in the right direction".

Also, we have now played 'the big four' and lost once. And that should not have happened. Overall, I am happy.

Oh ye of little faith. Just seen the Inners touch 50%. Marvellous what a couple of matches can do.

Nice to see MH pissed wet through from a decent stint in the technical area. It's what we should have been having from day one.

Keep it up, you CFC and Bayern Legend.

Lets face it, Mark Hughes could finish in the top 4 get us into europe, win the Carlng and FA cups and to some on here it still wouldnt be enough. And there are some who are so bitter and hateful of his past that they would want city to fall just to see the back of Mark Huges(sic)

tbh, i think a handful resent him because of his past, more were concerned with performances on the pitch, me included. beating an understrength arsanul side didn't fill me with optimism either,

but yesterday was awesome if that`s the kind of football and passion mark Hughes can get out of his team on a regular basis, i`ll be joining the Hughes inners. now we have, if there is any such thing, an easy run of games. let`s kick on and be more positive against these weaker teams and go for the wins
