Totally wrong and it's posts like this that helps you makes prats of yourselves. FACT: we all support City.
True City supporters would never want us to lose just to get rid of Mark Hughes.
His past is in the mix but Cole? Schmichael? Tevez? this shows we can get over ex rags.
If he pulls it round and we win the Carling Cup, get 4th place etc I will eat large slabs of humble pie.
We are devided but I personally don't think Mark Hughes is up to the job, my opinion, I'm a true blue.
2 Brilliant results against Arsenal and Chelsea and lets all enjoy this week, but the jury is still out.
Sorry Cully it's totally right. We could win the Premier League by a point and some would moan. There is a minority amongst the outers for whom no matter what he does it will never be good enough. As was proved by the comments on Skybluekings facebook group that he joined, for some it's simply he is an ex rag. As I said it is a minority but they are there.

I suppose there are a few that hate him coz he's a rag and I actually can understand that.
Point taken, but for me and a few others it's nothing to do with him being an ex rax.
Blackburn and Wales did nothing, £200 million, 18 months blah blah etc, that's where my dissatisfaction comes from.
I do hope we win the Carling cup, get 3rd or 4th and if Hughes turns it round he'll do for me.
Sorry I shouldn't talk negative this sh*te after 2 excellent results.

Didn't he take Blackburn to 3 semi finals and Wales to the bring of qualification? Given the stature of both sides I feel its harsh to say he did "nothing".

look what happened to both after he left
wales back to being third rate
rovers near the bottom
and didn't he take rovers into europe twice?

I agree with gaudino. this should be kept a sticky until the end of the season or at least until the numbers go conclusively one way

Blackburn made two FA cup semi's and a league cup semi under Hughes, although they had made a FA Cup semi final and won the league cup a couple of years before so no great achievement.

They did qualify for Europe twice under Hughes, although they had qualified for European in two of the three years before he arrived so again, no great achievement.

Overall I think most have the impression that Hughes worked miracles at Blackburn, I think he did well there but not a lot better (if at all) than Souness before him. Even looking at league performances, and they were quite similar over the time they were both at the club.

You can't help it can you?
Been trawling through Blackburn's records and Souness's career stats in the interests of balance - highly commendable.
