The OFFICIAL Spurs V City Match Thread.

We need to get Johnson on and tell him to track Bale wherever he goes, Man mark him all over the pitch.

If we don't stop Crouch getting on the end of these crosses we are going to get f**ked.

I never liked the signing of Yaya Toure and it's already showing in today's game.

The 3 kings of sideways/backwards passing are not complementary and it's deadly when you play 4-3-3. There need to be only 2 of them playing with a ''number 10'' who is creative and can easily play in the wingers/striker. These 3 central midfielders will not even score 10 goals and give 10 assists combined this season!

You can see that Tevez is frustrated and is trying to take over that role but it leaves a big gap upfront with nobody there.

Play David Silva in front of 2 holding mids and move Tevez on to the left with Adebayor as a target-man and AJ on the right.

Playing pretty slow . looks like ill be back on the weed by tonight haha . come on city we should snatch this

Joe Hart??!!

Spurs are a good team (last two home games were the wins over Chelsea and Arsenal). More than that they look much, much sharper, and faster, than I expect of a team on the first day of the season. Fair play to them. A great workout for our lot.

I'd swap ade for SWP

Zabs and Ade for SWP and Richards. It's like de ja vu. Last season everyone could see Sylvinho was having a mare but Hughes didn't change it. This season it's Richards. Change it NOW before it's to late. Joe has been immense.

I wouldn't single out Richards, if the midfield could get hold of the ball, he wouldn't be so exposed. The whole back 4 look shaky as fook. There's no creative oulet in the team. Yaya looks way off the pace, he won't last the full 90.

Still looking like a one man team with Tevez making all the running and trying to score.

dunno if we have the same commentary or not but would like to point our how infuriating its been so far, my favourite moment from the first half was when silva tackled and i heard
' no matter how expensive the acquisition, it's good to see some effort'

WTF!!!
short memories these cunts. like another poster said we have had a matter of weeks to get our team together spurs have been like this for a year- get swp off we need a target man up front at the very least

Also, watch for Kompany to get a second yellow from Twat Mariner, who hates City!! De Jong got to get a yellow, too, as he has to pay for the kung fu kick by every ref this season!

Need SOMEONE up front, as Tevez coming too deep. If he does, Silva, SWP and Yaya have to be making the run AND GET THE BALL. Last pass is leaving ALOT to be desired.

Tevez as Captain? Havin a laff, Roberto! Seriosuly!

Tottenham have failed to win their last three PL home matches that have been 0-0 at half time - failing to score in all three. Their last victory from this position was 2-1 against Birmingham City in August 2009... Joe Hart was in goal."

Can't see Kolarov coming out for the second half he was not mobile at all with that injury - Which means if we have to bring Lescott on for him then it leaves us with less options to make changes up front especially if you are looking to change Kompany as he looks like he could be sent off at anytime or Richards who is having a 'mare
