Tevez is very proud, a born winner and I think he doesnt relish the prospect of "just Champions League qualification" as an achievable target for us this season. He wants to be winning the champions league and what is more he wants to be scoring the winning goal in the final. He cant bear to be on the bench or in the shadows he wants public adulation and glory now! When he moved from Utd he didnt realise the bad blood his transfer would create The United fans hated the poster and his new City image. Living in Manchester the bad blood is on his doorstep.
Although his distant family, his English communication problems, the fractious relations with Mancini and his scheming agent may all be factors the bottom line is he is depressed and wants a fresh start in a sunnier climate where there is a liklihood of Champions League glory.
I only hope if he goes to Real, he doesnt return to Utd with Mourinho when Fergie retires. That would be too much to bear.

It is NOT a huge blow, or doesn't have to be. He is replaceable.

Dzeko- No experience in the premier league (to much of a gamble)

Aguero-Is argentinian and tevez will prob advise him not to come here.

Forlan- Seems a good option but at 31 years old I wouldn't like to risk him.


Way I see it there are only two payers who could truly take Carlos's place.

David Villa- Straight Swap (tevez gets to join up with Messi) (And Villa gets to join up with Silva) THIS FOR ME IS THE BEST OPTION.

Other option is we loan Tevez out to Barcelona in return we get Villa/Ibra. with it being a loan deal that way no players are committed to the club for a long period if they are unhappy.

I might be on my own here but I don't completely blame Tevez its his leech of an agent.

Lets face it he was effectively owned by Joorabchian and has been a puppet of his most of his career. Tevez may have seen other players coming in on more money and wanted more but its his agent that is controlling the whole situation.

He's probably told Tevez to leave it him to get him more money and he stands to make a further fortune out of getting him a transfer.

TBH whilst he is still with us as long as he is still busting a gut on the pitch for the club then I'm not going to give him abuse I just no longer idolise him. Its clear Joorabchian has got this tactic from the Rooney saga but it can't work in the same way as he still has 3 1/2 years on his contract as opposed to 18 months.

i agree with wat your saying but wat about this wat if Tevez/Joorabchian offer to buy the remainder of his contract out and Joorabchian helps to pay it out then he could have the rights again like when he arrived in england and then he would make a lot more(%) out of any future deals thats if its his agent is making the problems

I hopw city set their stall out and play hardball over this. Hang the **** by the balls. He's contracted to play for us for 3 and half more years. If he refuses he's in breach of conntract. Sue the ****. We are in a position most other clubs aren't. We can afford to let the **** rot. I really hope we do. Sounds all rosey but no way would that happen, not a chance.
