They will legally struggle to ban golfers that have exemptions (by winning) from the majors. You don't even need to be a current member of a tour to be allowed to play through exemption.Not if he goes off to LIV.I think both tours are going to ban all the LIV golfers.

Watch it back, it really was on and around the greens that made the difference. The 17th could easily have been a two shot swing.

I agree, I wasn’t arguing that it wasn’t. Just that it was on the green that made the difference. McIlroy missed three putts similar to Smith that he holed. The up and down on the 17th from him was brilliant too.
