The pain of our enemies

Only partly true.
I was on a river cruise on Tuesday with peeps from many parts of the UK.
They were very complimentary of CITY & unified in there loathing of NEVERPOOL.
Not one of them mentioned money & they supported Arsenal Bristol City QPR Villa Boro Preston Forest Watford Rags Geordies et al.
We are more appreciated by ‘football’ fans than perhaps some on here think.
River Cruise, very posh, starboard home? A bit upmarket from a Thomson Cruise sharing a dinner table with a dipper wearing a shirt sponsored by Candy and calling everyone “mate”. Not that I’ve been on one :)

Have a mate who's a Chelsea fan and he said it used to be like this for them around 2005 when Mourinho was still good. It's all borne of fear.

I would say similar but the agenda against our owners is on a different scale altogether.
very true, beyond anything in my experience, even Leeds never had the concentrated and sustained vitriol that the media have brought to bear. murdoch's shitstorm is imo, profit related, their backing for the rags has made them billions. I suspect there is a racial element involved with some media owners, how else can it be explained, there is no chance it has any altruistic motivation. I believe someone is holding a gun to the board of the BBC, the bias is blatant and inexplicable, and inexcusable. The public deserve/need a counterpoint to the big-business driven media that have become ever more influential in this era of "fake-news" and disinformation. From being a world-renowned news organisation to just another agency for vested interests. Bastards. Every dipper-biased pundit is backed by their employer to follow the script, like actors in a low-budget soap opera, like "a spokesman for the government", a celebrity endorsing a funeral plan. it's just agenda disguised as "opinion". Sacrilegious to say it, on BM, but it's football, the same thing is happening in running the country, surely much more serious and dangerous, my opinion anyway, fwiw.

in my job i speak to around 150 lads a day who support teams in all divisions.
Bar the rags and dipper fans, all the rest have been very complimentary regards the football we play.
And the dippers really are despised by all.

Direct action at the BBC before the parade on Monday.

Cause them some grief to report !!

Through the city of York down to Naburn where the river becomes tidal.

Not posh but great on a lovely early summer evening.

Back to doing ATMs tonight. That’s not posh either but it’s very rewarding. Hope my secret’s safe with you. Haven’t told anyone else

Some of my mates from LEEDS stopped going to Maine Rd in 1969.

They described it as the worst experience going through the streets and the Kippax car park to the old open end.

Others say the walk round ‘Hell Fire Corner’ to the coaches in the 70s was the scariest thing ever.

We have had some very handy lads through the generations.
I always got the impression,it was because off Helen & her Bell..
