This is what we saw with Utd and I think we're seeing it even stronger with LFC..... But we have Pep holding back that tide of insidious media/club collaboration

  • Big club has success = £
  • Media reports positively on them to attract large fanbase of clicks/listeners/viewers = ££
  • The positivity in the media helps the club to more success = £££
  • Media reports even more positively on them to attract even larger fanbase of clicks/listeners/viewers = ££££
  • The positivity in the media helps the club to even more success = ££££
  • Media reports even more positively on them to keep the ever growing fanbase of clicks/listeners/viewers = £££

  • The positivity in the media keeps the club at the top driving even more success = £££££££££
  • The whole cycle goes on for years making money for everyone involved = ££££££££££££
 
Opposition fans and anti-City media are all salivating at the prospect of a Champions League ban without realising that it will probably result in Guardiola staying at the club longer and give him the chance to ruin the Premier League for even longer.
 
No it taints it TBH. Liverpool fans are seemingly able to promote vile and distasteful ideas about the culture and history of our club, the manner of our wins and meaning of our titles that are soon passed off as factually accurate. I'm ashamed to say it really winds me up, not least because it is impossible to have a meaningful debate with a comment on twitter!

They did the same thing when Raheem had the temerity to leave thier club.
He had to put up with it until the public saw through it and they will gradually see through this as well

not a chance, this team is an altogether different animal, the more they poke it the more determined to win it gets
