The people who refuse to sit !

Re: The who refuse to sit !

Stand up as much as you want. Unless you a over thirty foot you will never spoil my view. The council will never grant a licence for one part of the ground to stand and not others

Re: The who refuse to sit !

The rules are a result of Hillsborough but that wasn't the fault of the fans. It was the fault of complacent authorities and shit police who (as usual) lied through their teeth to cover up their mistakes.

There isn't going to be a second Hillsborough because of fans standing in seated stadiums so it's about time we grew a collective pair and stood up to these pen-pushing petty bureaucrats.

Smoking in the stadium is also illegal yet they've given up on that.

They could well fine the club, though I would be very surprised if they closed part of the ground, which they could easily do, as that would mean they lose out on revenue.

I agree. Let's also issue those big foam hands, free flasks & tupperware for sandwiches. Oh - and stop people making all that noise as it gives people a headache.

This is not what am talking about!! , i am talking about the ones who stand when there is no chanting etc just be a pain in the arse who think rules don't apply to them . The stand up if you love city chant is great and love it when the whole ground stand , but that's not sung for ninety mins now is it !!

I'm in 109, I sit at half time, that count?

This. 109 and 110 are separated by a meter wide aisle of stairs. The vast, vast majority of 109 have stood for all 3 home games this season with only the first few rows being effected by the stewards. IMO, if we stand as a unit (us 109-ers) then the stewards are powerless.

'Stand up if you love City'

But the council are not, and can if they so decide close parts of the ground, or fine the club for a breach of the entertainment licence.

Strange that as after EVERY game I get PM's asking me what can they do as they have been caught smoking or usually my mate has been caught!

At the end of the day if you are willing to break the ground regulations then be willing to accept your ban.
