The Pep 'Survivor List' (Senior and Junior (loanee) players)

Kolorov,Clichy,Bony,Yaya,Caballero,Navas,Fernando for the chop

Could Zabba be used like Lahm at Bayern? Delph as a left back , he will surprise us with a few players that's for sure.

Said this before, we don't need to rely on sentimentality to keep Zab, he's an intelligent footballer with an insatiable appetite for hard work. Good bombing forward, can play rb and lb and could do a holding job in front of the back four. I would suggest exactly the sort of player Pep values.

I think most of the current players will be here longer than Pep.

Totally agree mate, he's been treated like a dog under this manager-said it a season ago he's been over footballed,he's only just properly recovering now, he's flogged to many players to death and to me they look like they have given up, it's no coincidence the number of injuries we have had since he arrived- it may work in Spain in a weaker less physical league but not in this one, he has had options at his disposal from the eds lads to do a job when players look fucked or when we are two up with twenty minutes to go.

Pep will use every option at his disposal correctly , the main gripe for me is Manuel has totally underestimated this league since he got here-said it before but I reckon there are a lot of players who can't wait for him to go.

All the interviews from players who work with pep seems to indìcate he will mould a player into positions he feels they can do and if the attitude is right then they have a future. I don't think he will see a lot as unable to adapt to him and cannot see major changes, kolarov, yaya, bony are maybe likely to go with demi returning to argentina, bar that I think all have a chance of staying.

Watching that performance — or whatever you want to call it — yesterday got me to thinking who, in my opinion, will definitely survive of this squad, once Pep is in. Now I'm not saying the clear-out will be all at one fell swoop, this summer. But I believe that these players, and these only, are fairly certain of still being at this club and in the squad about fourteen months from now:

Hart
Fernandinho
Silva
Aguero
Iheanacho
Sterling
De Bruyne

Kompany (?)

I put a question mark after Vinny's name because everything depends on him proving that he can get — and stay — fit. Otherwise, I don't see Pep having any patience with him. I honestly think everybody else could be cleared out, or put out to grass. I think players like Clichy, Zab and Sagna have done a fine job, as far as they go (and I love Zab as a guy, does it need saying) but I don't think will feel that players of that age will be mouldable to his style.
What's your survivor list?
If he can bring in almost all of the BM team I really think we can win the CL .

I like the Delph LB, Zabba defensive midfield ideas. Flexibility is key. Kolarov, left midfield? Navas RB?

On the basis that we will bring in 4 and use a few youngsters then I can see 6 leaving.

Most vulnerable would be Yaya, Bony(looks one dimensional, Muller he aint), Mdm, too slow and old, Mangala athletic but no footballer, Nasri talented but lacking heart and Sagna and Clichy neither strike me as Pep fullbacks.
