the plan what is it

Gary Neville was also constantly on about this and he summed it up perfectly when he said that if our manager was English he would be slated for being tactically naive and not up to the job

Under Bobby we had 5 in mid field 433 or 451 and it worked for the last 3 years, it just needed pace adding. Not ripping up
1. your quoting Gary neville ...?!? So biased, he as the england assistant still publicly criticised joe hart last night... totally unprofessional!
2. Worked...!?!? In the champions league..? Nooooo... in the f.a cup final against wigan...? Nooooo.... when ever yaya was unavailable? Noooo... hes gone, he had to go, get over it.... look to the future!

2 options:

- Let Pellegrini do his work. Give him time to implement his style. Give him everything he needs. Even if he wants new players.

- Sack Pellegrini and bring in Laudrup.

The thing Mancini constantly got wrong for me was his insistence in playing 2 up front in Europe it just does not work, especially against the very best sides, hopefully Manuel will realise this sharpish and we can progress through this group.

As for the league we can get away with playing 2 up front most weeks purely because we have good enough players to do so against weaker sides than Bayern.

genuine question here

all us amateur managers on here seem to think/know the 4-4-2 was wrong from the start on wednesday yet our highly vaunted experienced manager
couldn't see it and refused to change until it was way too late

i mean he should of known from the team sheets that bayern were playing at least 4-5-1 and as it turned out at times it was 4-6-0 as muller was all over the place at times.

what made him think our 4-4-2 would work against the european champions?

arrogance/blind to other tactics

Reading this and the thread you started that we moved, I can think of 2 other options:
1) You are genuinely a blue but with a brain the size of a dwarf microbe.
2) You are a rag wum.

I'm inclining towards (2) at the moment.

Laudrup???????

we should if we sack our manager take a long hard look at the setup in the back ground the 3 main men behind the sceens that head hunted the new manager and got mancini the sack they should be moved out

I would give patrick Vieira first choice until the summer then if its still looking bad then go and get Jurgen Klopp

How much money do you think we gonna give pellegrini, we've already spent 100 mill. if i remember correctly one of the reasons mancini was fired was becoz he couldn't make the beast out of the team he already had. throwing money at pellegrini is not gonna fix anything bar him buying ronald or messi anyone he buys won't be a massive improvment in our squad, he needs to change the philosohpy of city and their spending and the players attitude, that was what i thot the whole holistic thing was about. The owners don't want to spend another R100 million i feel, and they should have to after wat they've spent already.

spot on he spent a bucket full in the summer and we had a very good setup already that just a couple of more world class defenders and we would have walked the league

but he went a spent the money on the front line and a midfield holding player
who in my book we paid well over the odds at £20million plus

like I said 2 new top draw centerbacks and we are the best team in England
and would get out of the groups in the champions league easy

but plan A is what??? premier league?? or champions league??
do the players feel that are they working with the right manager or the men behind the sceens have the last say

its wrong at the moment and is defo not working to a plan that is right for the players to handle

How about -
1) lets fuck all this negativity off
2) Get behind the manager and show him we are behind
3) Get behind the players and show our support vocally (esp Joe Hart)
4) Get it absolutely rocking tomorrow and cheer the fuck on so they know we are behind them

Thats a good start
The rest of the plan is down to the Manager, Players, Support Staff & Board to implement
