We came behind 3 times, and were still the better team with only ten men.

I don't see how any aspect of todays result can be levelled at Hughes, as City fans we should be together in saying...

CLATTENBURG OUT!

My point is that we should never have been behind against a team like Bolton, we should not have been under the cosh for so much of that game. A one off yes its not fair to blame the manager but unfortunately this is not a one off.

We were behind because of a crazy decision by the linesman.

We weren't under the cosh for much of the game. They did nothing between their goals and it was all City.

Things were frantic towards the end because we were down to 10 men and playing a 1-4-4 formation.

Last time i looked Chelsea were top.

Trust me, Spuds fans will very soon be calling for the spivs head if their downward spiral continues.

1 win in 8 is mediocrity at its very extreme.
Yes it aint great even I can accept that but today was "one of them" ref seemed hell bent on making sure we didn't win joke decision for their first goal a second yellow when Bellers was clipped but results have worked in a way that we have stayed exactly where we were in fact we have closed the gap on Spuds in 4th.

Fair enough i agree to some extent but every time we've drawn against Bolton, Burnley, Birmingham, Hull, etc etc, we get a whole host of 'fuckin refs fault' when the reality is we should have much more than enough to be putting at least 50% of these games to bed. For me, most of these draws are papering over some sh*te coaching cracks. Today, Tevez was on a one man mission, particularly in 2nd half when with the resouces Hughes has had, every player should be playing with the same hunger and the performance should be more akin to a team performance than the odd one or two individual efforts.

Anyone who cannot see our defense is garbage is having a laugh saying others are blind.

Our defence needs some work. It isn't garbage. Saying it is makes you sound childish and reactionary.

If its that easy how long will it take Hughes to work out how a good defense is organised. So far he has had 4 months. Face it he has brought in the wrong defenders.

Re: Any Hughes inners left after that?

Sorry to disappoint you but Still here....not all as fickle as you.

Will Ancelotti be sacked now for the recent results....are all the Chelsea fans swamping web sites calling for his head? No.

You sound as if you couldn't wait for a draw or a loss so that you could bang the 'Hughes Out' drum again.

We have only had one season with these players. When Hughes went shopping for players we were lucky to get top names to come because frankly, City were going nowhere. We have only lost once and our profile is NOW high. Players will want to come to this club in future - UNLESS, OF COURSE, THEY READ THE COMMENTS FROM SHIT FANS LIKE YOU.

Enjoy it - we have everything going for us.

Great fight back - this team can battle

Oh fuck off mate. What team of the last 30 years that City has put out has had the heart to come back 3 times away from home to get a point when we were having a bad day and had lots going against us? Sure we shouldn't have played like we did, but you can't say that Hughes hasn't got a lot of things right. There are plenty of questions to be answered yet, but we are well and truly in the fight for the top 4 whether you like it or not. Sometimes I feel that some City fans just love failure and would prefer to see us stuff it up so they can point and say 'told you so!' then to be patient and give things time.

I'd love to hear about your reaction to Tottenhams loss at home to Wolves. Fuck they must be going to be relegated on the basis of your logic!

How many have Spurs won in the last 8 games against shit teams? How many have we won? Say what you like with all this bollocks about "hurrr we've only lost once" but the fact is that Liverpool, Villa, Tottenham are fucking it up and we have a great chance to pull away at this stage and we're fucking ourselves over with these god awful performances. It's not just the fact that we're playing really badly collectively through matches and maybe turning up for 10 or 20 minutes a game it's added on to the fact that we're wasting the opportunity the other teams are handing to us to climb back up the table after this so called "two month blip". Chelsea result should have spurred the lads on today and should have been drilled into them all week against quite frankly an awful Bolton side who have been rubbish all season, but we've blown the fucking chance again with a quality 20 minute performance in a 90 minute game.

explain awful performances to me, I'm slow. Explain how not being beaten is bad thing and explain how chelsea, s-utd, arsenal all have lost more games then us and we have a shite manager again

Just think where we could be with a half decent manager in this season where there is so little quality in the Prem. Manure on top and they have a poor team this season.

We've got a "half decent manager" - his name is Mark Hughes.

Beaten just once all season, once at home in a year, couple of points off top four, semi's of the cup.

Nuff said!

Although Im chuffed we are in the semi's of Carling Cup, lets not get carried away....we've seen off Crystal Palace, Fulham Reserves, the mighty Scunthorpe and Arsenal Kids. Its nothing more than would be expected after spending the money we have.

Im not calling for Hughes out, simply because we are still in with a shout of where we want to be, but don't kid youself...it's not because of how well we are playing...it's because everyone else around us is f*cking it up too.

Re: Any Hughes inners left after that?

Had a little time to sit back and review the game now.

The spirit shown cant be knocked. Starting line up maybe should have included Robbie, but judging by swp treatment it might have been a bad move.

Defence looked at sixes and sevens at times. Barry seems a yard too slow. Tevez dragged us up time and again single handedly and I hope he keeps it up.

I wasnt sure about taking ade off for rsc.

We should get a dedicated defensive coach. If we already have one he should be fucked off.

Other than that, offside goal, stuffy turn on edge of box, and bellers sent off by some stupid twat.

I could quite happily punch clattenberg in the nose if I saw him on the street.

These refs need sorting out. Too mny bent fuckers
