We came behind 3 times, and were still the better team with only ten men.

I don't see how any aspect of todays result can be levelled at Hughes, as City fans we should be together in saying...

CLATTENBURG OUT!

My point is that we should never have been behind against a team like Bolton, we should not have been under the cosh for so much of that game. A one off yes its not fair to blame the manager but unfortunately this is not a one off.

Under the cosh for most of the game? Which game were you watching? The mind boggles.

I think, in reply to the OP, yes, there still are plenty of Hughes inners left, and that today was a mixed bag, either a shamefully chaotic mess, or a battling display of never say die spirit, depending on your point of view.

this debate will run and run.

there should be no need for debate the ref was fooking shocking simple as!

On the fence regarding Hughes, but today was a PERFECT example of why I have doubts about him. Too worried about what Bolton were going to do to us, rather than what Robinho would have done to Bolton's defense if he had started. Too negative a mindset. Too cautious. Two points dropped.

It was exactly the same against Liverpool, they were there for the taking.

Why do clubs all play shit, till they play city, then play like world beaters ?

How many have Spurs won in the last 8 games against shit teams? How many have we won? Say what you like with all this bollocks about "hurrr we've only lost once" but the fact is that Liverpool, Villa, Tottenham are fucking it up and we have a great chance to pull away at this stage and we're fucking ourselves over with these god awful performances. It's not just the fact that we're playing really badly collectively through matches and maybe turning up for 10 or 20 minutes a game it's added on to the fact that we're wasting the opportunity the other teams are handing to us to climb back up the table after this so called "two month blip". Chelsea result should have spurred the lads on today and should have been drilled into them all week against quite frankly an awful Bolton side who have been rubbish all season, but we've blown the fucking chance again with a quality 20 minute performance in a 90 minute game.

explain awful performances to me, I'm slow. Explain how not being beaten is bad thing and explain how chelsea, s-utd, arsenal all have lost more games then us and we have a shite manager again

You think we've been playing well for the past two months? Hell we haven't been playing well all season if we're going to be brutally honest. We turn it on for maybe 10, 20 or 30 minutes per game then we switch off and go back to playing awfully. Examples: Burnley, 2-0 down playing rubbish, click and grab a quick 3 in 15 minutes and when we should be seeing the game out or going to kill the game off we switch back and play shite and Burnley equalize. Fulham, 2-0 up, should be finishing them off, but no, we switch off again and allow them back into it and instead of working hard we get outplayed all over the park and draw again. Most of our draws have gone that exact way, nothing changes each week.

Wow we've only lost once all season. Oh look, the Premier League table, there are teams that have lost more games than us, but have more points than us.

Re: Any Hughes inners left after that?

Bolton are fighting for their lives, they will give anyone a game at the Reebok. Good performance from the team wish I could say the same for Clattenberg. We're getting there slowly, anyone who can't see that needs a lesson on football and trip to specsavers.

Is this the same Bolton that has lost 5 of the last 6 at home?

Re: Any Hughes inners left after that?

The sack the boss twice every season posters have mentioned about our defensive line up....
SWP, Ade, Tevez, Bellers
So playing four attackers is defensive?
please explain.

...maybe the defence need a trip to specsavers. Unless 1 clean sheet in the last 11 league games, alot of them against bottom of the table clubs, is progress ??
