I love it when the country is doing well it's all down to the private sector when it's bad it's because of the public sector, over the last ten years Id say the public sector has suffered just as much and certainly people on the frontline have, bin collections down, less police, nurses, fire fighters, waiting times up, roads not done, this is all part of it and we have all suffered because of the consequences of a shit government and private sector greed.

I hate stats but here you go, got bored after three to be honest, over the top claims don't help fella, not sure if you work in the public service or are spoon fed by socialist today's website
I'm a firefighter mate we can all massage the stats to suit what we want facts are there are fewer boots in the ground now and it's noticeable hugely, waiting for over half an hour for an ambulance to turn up to an RTC, fires are down buts that's because of the work we do in home safety and awareness even with slashed budgets, also the way they are recorded is changed believe me I know first hand how the massage change it to suit their figures. Crime diw is great but when it does happen how long do you wait for the police to see you? Do you think you should wait 4 hours for A&E? I not a socialist I'm a realist I see it everyday.

What I am saying is that you can make a reasoned argument of merit, you stated that public services are going to ruin when

Nurse numbers haven't gone down or doctors probably spending on the nhs has increased
Crime is down by a huge amount
There are less fires

People didn't believe the scare stories and as a fireman you may well have valid points but if the left carry on lying with scare stories a lot of good points get lost in the barrage, this thread has been nothing but bollocks going back and forth, pointless

Even Damocles who is a bright bloke couldn't resist with his jackanory about a decent person falling on hard times, anyone who says all benefit recipients are scroungers are pillocks but so is anyone who uses one case to justify no reform of the welfare system
