That's exactly what an ungracious loser would say ;-)

You played me :(

:) Come on though.. the winner has won by definition. He has the spoils, it is repugnant to rub it in the face of the guy who lost.

Did you say that to all your Utd mates after the 93.20 moment?

I don't have mates, but haha hypocrisy strikes again! I might have rubbed it in. But it wasn't me out on the field was it? Was just a (relatively) bullshit victory.

If I win at a 2 man game.. anything...darts, pool.. who can piss the highest - I never rub it in (not the piss) unless in jest.

It's had quite an effect on me.

This morning whilst I was arguing on the election thread the kids came upstairs and said a rat was dying in the drain. Turns out it was a hedgehog.

Anyway the poor little fucker was at the side of the house and doing doggy paddle while Mrs ww bath water poured over his spikey head.

He wa struggling like fuck to get out but couldn't. Managed to get a big spoon and scoop him out. Put him onthe drive and watched him for a bit. He was shaking incredibly so I googled hedgehog and found a hospital in withington that just deals in hedgehogs.

Turns out he was getting hyperthermia and would have died within a couple of hours. We managed to get him in the car using a quality street tin.

The hospital which was a 70 odd year old woman with 30 wheels bins in her garden gave him drugs and dried him with a hair dryer. Got talking to her and she has been saving hedgehogs for 49 years and is getting an OBE next week.

The kids think I will get a pride of Britain award. I have been smiling all day - never done anything like that before. Maybe I should have been a vet.

The moral of the story - if a hedgehog is drowning in your garden - take it to withington.

If I can save just one more hedghig life this post will have been worth it.

Not surprised really decency is your calling card

That's true - to be honest it really has effected me. I wish I had voted labour now.

So a hedgehog was living on your premises without paying rent or contributing and you saved it? No one stands by their beliefs anymore, have a word with Damocles he is a major player with the WWF, he might get you a free ticket to Chester zoo

bitter Labour supporters showing their class by trying to destabilize a legitimate government.

No government can consider itself legitimate under the current system.

They can its the law of the land so it is 100 percent legitimate, and I voted lib dems

Just like it was legitimate to chemically castrate Alan Turing. Hopefully, in generations to come, they will look upon the current electoral system with the same disbelief and disgust that we use when looking upon past governments.

Its lawfulness is fair comment, but there's no way it could be described as democratic and as such that brings into question its legitimacy.

The system is a farce no doubt I have yet to hear a decent alternative yet apart from mine which would probably collapse under scrutiny

Why would it collapse under scrutiny?

The current farce doesn't.

The problem with politics is that those who can change it benefit most from it staying the same

That paradigm isn't just restricted to politics, mate.
