Went to my uncles funeral last Friday with my Sister.
She is the type of girl that gives Mince some hope of gaining an IQ.
She bought me a drink then I went to return the favour.
“What you having sis?”
“They don’t sell Chardonnay so can I have a Civilian Blank please”.

Made me smile.

My car is ‘in dock’ at the moment and while the garage owner gave me a lift back, we were discussing our old cars from way back. Including the following, coat hangars for aerials, turning the ignition on and the aerial would go up, manual chokes, gear sticks that were exactly that, like a metal stick with a ball on the end, pot luck if the heating came on before you got to work, ‘filling the car up’ with £10, no power steering, we could have talked all day;)
