Great final climb today, superb support from fans on the ramps too.
I love seeing Remco ride away from Primoz like that. Sets up the rest of the race beautifully, and even makes the TT on Tuesday interesting.
Shame for Tao falling, but I’m not sure in all honesty he would’ve featured on the podium anyway.

Not seen the MTB Worlds with Pidcock today but understand he took a tumble too. Can’t win ‘em all.
 
Blimey Charlie that was an eventful last 3K at the Vuelta just now. Roglic busts a gut to open up a gap, then has a horrible crash in the final 50m. Evenepoel gets a "puncture" even though the bike looks fine, then gets the 3K rule. Glad I've got Eurosport now.

Felt like there was a fair bit of rule flexibility going on there.
