First half performance was very good and big reason for that was silva .
silva just showed he is more important player than yaya especially if we get pogba .
All the young boys showed their talent and the some of the senior players kolavor , nasri and clichly(was not too bad) were the ones that got
showed up
Todays match being a talented player is not enough to play for city you also need to learn tactical skills and read the game and adapt . All our academy players learn that at a young age and players like silva read the game so very easily

Nacho clearly has amazing potential but he clearly needs to work on his hold up play...and not giving the ball away.
Did you really watch the game .His hold up play was very good and ten times better than the besnian diamond

Gonna say it over and over again. Never been as excited for an upcoming season as I am about this one. It feels different to all the others since the take over. The kids are maturing, we're refreshing the squad, we have an English impetus again which is always important - everything just feels right not just for the short term but the long term too.
Remember Neville and his wanking over Chelsea's so called long term planning of their squad as opposed to our supposed short term planning. Well I think that's going to have a remarkably different complexion when we have two or three from the youth teams actually in our first team squad whereas Chelsea, for all their lip service to developing players, still haven't got one from the new generation even close.
If we get either or both of Pogba and KDB, the anticipation will be off the scale.
I'd gladly bin a few of the senior players and play the likes of Kelechi and Lopes in their place tbh, same for Angelino and Maffeo. I'd back those four to offer more than Jovetic, Nasri, Kolarov and Sagna. Obviously it won't happen that quickly, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if by the start of next season 4 or 5 of these lads had kicked seniors out of the squad. (with Denayer obviously replacing Demichelis gradually over this season as well) Garcia has it as well, whatever it is, he's got it in spades.
