So as I was saying ;-)

Do you think if we were 8 points behind when it got down to the last 10, that we could realistically claw it back?

Football is a funny old game anything could still happen, but if I was being honest I can't see Chelsea dropping many points from our game onwards, where as we have a few hard away games where you can see us dropping points sadly...

I said to my mate before christmas if we're within striking distance of Chelsea after we play them i think we'll run em close.
Need to avoid defeat at Stamford Bridge which will be hard.

The chances are that we will be out of the Champs League before them, and then the FA cup and their Carling Cup fixtures will also have an effect.
They have had very few disruptions to their team/squad, and I think they are bound to suffer those in the second half of the season.
The law of averages must leave us with a more injury free 2nd half of the season, and if we can keep our top players fit, + Bony to come in all guns firing, we'll go on another strong run, and the pressure will hopefully tell on Chelsea.
If we can get anything at all at Stamford Bridge on 31st Jan, it will be a big bonus for us. But, the Premier league will still be winnable even if we fall 8 points behind - after all, that's where we were in March/April 2012.
There's still plenty of time for things to change.
