The Scottish Politics thread

So, as someone who was born in Scotland but now lives in England, will I be getting the opportunity to vote on a matter that might result in my nationality being changed against my will?

No - thought not.

The English people living in Scotland will replace you mate ;)

There will be a year of shit flinging starting after the courts make their decisions.

It doesn't matter anyway because even if the vote goes against the SNP they will campaign for a new one a week after.
Once in a generation is apparently once every 8 yrs , until they get the vote they want.

That said its a rather pointless vote or pol or whatever it is, as it won't be validated or binding and therefore only those that want a yes are likely to vote in it. Likely result will be a yes vote. The UK government know this and therefore won't sanction it.

Hope the SNP spend their own money and not the UK taxpayers doing all the promotion etc. Fat chance.

Perhaps all of the UK should get a vote? Alternatively perhaps the UK should follow an EU government's path like the Spanish one and put Sturgeon on trial for sedition. The EU were OK with this remember.

Shame really, nationalist politicians just create division and hate. We could all do with less these days.

Is your second name Mori?

We heard all this last time, and this will be just another re-hash of the same thing.
Maybe or maybe not. The political landscape has shifted massively since the last vote.
