The Scottish Politics thread

I think Bob spent so much time in one thread, day in day out for years, that now he has spread his wings he hasn't grasped how a forum actually works.

He seems to think that but whatabout the Tories on repeat is somewhat enlightening to other posters. Obviously most are capable of saying the Tories are utter shite because well they are but commenting on other politicians is also allowed.

Its probably why there are multiple threads in the politics subforum. He will probably get there eventually no one but an idiot thinks that only the worst behaviour should have consequences.
Last time I looked Tory policies impact Scottish Politics.

Then if you don’t live here how do you know the SNP are ruining the lives of its residents. Maybe you read too much Daily Fail. After all, they always tell the truth.
I have a few friends who live in Scotland. Used to be die hard SNP. Not any more. They have told me why they can longer support them and the people who run the party. Both tragic and hilarious at the same time. They are a busted flush on every level. The voters in Scotland will confirm this at the next election.

We'll see, they will lose seats to Labour but the last projection I saw, saw them taking the few remaining Tories seats and still getting 41 seats. Tories projected to get 0 seasts.

Oh, a few friends eh? Well I’m sure they represent all of us pretty well. The SNP have gone down in my estimation too but as long as they remain the only credible party to push independence I will vote for them. I have a few friends who think the same too. ;-) The U.K. is indeed a busted flush. A once great nation. sadly not anymore Thanks to a succession of Tory governments (apologies mentioning Tories is off topic in a Scottish Politics thread despite the fact they dictate the majority of our foreign, trade, economic policies).

if you are in the slightest interested in politics you would recognise that the SNPs socialist policies are quite distinct from any other party which is a specific reason that many Scot’s vote for them irrespective of the independence question. Gender recognition/ Murrell/ ferries/ education have put a lot of backs up but when push comes to shove and the nation has to vote for Tory/ Tory light or SNP, let’s see who remains in control of Scottish Parliament.
