Interesting to read your viewpoint. It's very similar to a lot of Brexit arguments. If it's what the Scottish people genuinely want then I hope you get another ref in around 5 years time and make your cut. I'll be sad to see Scotland go though, I hope total independence doesn't stop us being close friends as countries.
....except hold another 'once in a generation' referendum.Current UK government seem to be doing everything they can to encourage the break up of the union.

The UK government didn’t hold the first one either.....except hold another 'once in a generation' referendum.
Sometimes I wish they did.The UK government didn’t hold the first one either.
I'm absolutely positive it will probably build a better relationship as both countries will govern themselves and likely work together but from a level grounding. Scotland and England are intrinsically linked and rely on each other, however it is very obvious that the mindset of both countries are very different.
I see it as two siblings staying in the same house that constantly bicker. Its just time for Scotland to move out. Doesn't mean the bond between both countries will disappear.
I think Covid has obviously impacted the referendums momentum as it takes a back seat. Once it's passed i expect full steam ahead.
Nothing in there that is particularly surprising.Have you seen the rest of the poll?
