She was given an incredibly easy ride by the press as well.

The police investigation, the dodgy loan where she knowingly broke the rules and misled, the terrible record in government and the unanswered questions on how they would reduce the deficit ahead of independence - all matters which required proper interrogation, which has never been forthcoming.
