I haven’t been keeping up to date tbh and was just wondering how badly they’re perceived.
Would depend entirely on who you ask a wide range of opinions, there is no single opinion, but would say this pretty much sums it up.

What will be her legacy?

She was the first minister who expanded early learning and childcare and used new welfare powers to introduce a weekly child payment unique to Scotland - policies she would regard as significant achievements.

While opposition parties say they would maintain these benefits, financial watchdogs warn that the extent of health and social welfare spending in Scotland is unsustainable.

All of this is part of the Sturgeon legacy to be debated as she counts down to her departure from the Scottish Parliament in just over a year.

Nicola Sturgeon famously made decisions in a very tight circle and according to one adviser her decision-making group became ever smaller.

By the end, this source said she was operating in "a circle of one".

It was ultimately her decision to leave high office just as it is now hers to leave frontline politics altogether.

As she has noted herself in the past, Nicola Sturgeon is a public figure loved and loathed in almost equal measure but there can be few who would doubt that politics will be a duller place without her presence.

Well if Trump is a 10 on your scale, I would put the pair of them at about 6ish.
I note that Police have concluded their investigation into Sturgeon. No further action. No charges.
Mundell is in court today. Lets see how that transpires.

The pair of them have been subjected to the same 'justice' as City. Guilty from the get go. It may be that Mundell is or is not but as usual the media dictates how folk should think.

She was very pro an independent Scotland, was she not?
Has this now died a death or is there a movement there without her?
The SNP are still committed to independence and their poll rating has remained steady despite Sturgeon and the blip of Labour popularity round the general election. Personally I think the support is too weak (in Scotland) to ever come to fruition. Like England, the media in Scotland including BBC is predominantly right wing and is predominantly UK/Union friendly. We will continue to moan about whoever is in Westminster pulling the levers.

I haven't seen any analysis broken down by age, but get the impression my childrens age group, early 20s, there is more support than older people,(over 60s)

That has been the case for some years. But as the youngsters get older they tend to drift and the 48-52% seems to be a constant. There is no chance until public opinion moves to 60% + yes.

It is pretty dead, yeah

There is also no mechanism for a referendum, no real call for one either. So it is all a bit meaningless. Particularly if they fail to win the next election, which is likely. So yeah, pretty dead now.

You mean the next Scottish election? They will win that as folk are discovering that Labour = Tory policies and that is reflected in the polls. I think Reform will see advances too by taking votes from the Tories. I don’t think there is a conversation about another referendum until yes is at 60%+.
I see no indication that there is anyone with the ambition, experience, economic know how, business development acumen to build a case that is anywhere close to convincing the Scottish people so yes it’s dead for the foreseeable. Meanwhile we get what we deserve.

it’s all of her own making I’m afraid.
The Scotsman

That’s that then.

Of course she’s completely innocent and, being the naive, unquestioning soul that she is, she knew nothing about her party’s finances or what was really going on inside her party’s HQ.

It was all a complete mystery to her.

The exact same will be said about the club though no doubt, if eventually cleared. And you will possibly be annoyed by it.
