The Secret Footballer

Re: The Secret Footballer..... 'Lifting the Lid'

So what clues do we have?

He was a team mate of Di Canio?

What else?

Come on we can guess this.

Have you tried reading Pele's autobiography? It's like something that was written by a six year old

"So we went on a train. I was standing on the seat looking out of the window. The scenery was enthralling. I leaned out of the window too far and felt myself falling. Fortunately, my Father pulled me back into the carriage. For the rest of the journey I had to sit between my Mother and Father. I was not allowed to look out of the window again"

What happened next? Don't keep me hanging on like this PP.

Re: The Secret Footballer..... 'Lifting the Lid'

I don't know how people can say its a crap read. It's no timeless classic like Great Expectations but its a very good inside perspective of football players and day to day routines.

Kevin Davies is poll topper as TSF. Could very well be him.

-- Fri Mar 01, 2013 9:55 pm --

Just tuned into the end of an interview with Jimmy Bullard on TalkSport.

I'm sure they have just confirmed it was him.Excuse me if this was this already public knowledge?

Kelly and Quinn have a regular 20 questions thing to guess a footballers identity. No connection with the book other than the title. Jimmy Bullard was just todays offering.
