Have you given any thought to getting another? We have had Maine coons for 20 odd years and never get the same colour as it would be a reminder of the little boys we’ve lost. Silver blotched tabby which sadly had hcm and died at four years old classic brown like your boy and now a black tabby and white and a blue tabby and white. Always had boys as they seem to have more character
Not yet N L P we had him for 16 years, it's too early to say if we will get another, if we do it will be a Maine Coon and a Male they keep their playfullness longer than the Females.

Definitely,our two little boys are full of it and have that Maine coon unique characteristics whilst they are still only seven months old the blue boy is 7 kilograms already and the black tabby is 6 kilograms and you certainly know when they jump on you in bed off the headboard. We won’t forget our last boy as he was one in a million like yours probably and he will never be replaced but it helps heal the pain of losing him by having these two little buggers
