The Smiths & Morrissey thread

What was the setlist?

MES has posted below.

His voice was tremendous.

The 3 smiths songs were great choices and At Amber, I’ve changed my plea to guilty and Seasick yet still docked were highlights for me as I’ve never heard them sung live before. Jack the Ripper was good too.

His covers were well chosen too.

It was a concert for die hard fans. There were a few grumbles from people obviously not familiar with the older more obscure stuff but it was well received and he was in great spirits all the way through, which was unusual. I’ve been to about 20 Moz gigs over the years and this was in my top 5

It was dreadful, did a load of covers as his voice has gone and he probably couldn't do most of his solo stuff from before he was 40.

I can only remember 1 actual Morrissey track he played from the 1990s or 80s which were peak Morrissey, far too much Ringleader onwards, catering for new fans.

Dont think he has new fans, just us oldies clinging on..... He always plays "unpopular songs". That Munich song isnt awful because of the rags connection it is just awful full stop.
