Strange decision.

They were playing to 18000 at the co-op arena in June!

I’ve seen James maybe 5 times now in the US in Boston and NY and always these type of venues. Biggest was Radio City, NY and that was supporting Squeeze in 2008

People (rock fans mainly) will regularly wank over the ability of guitarists such as Jimmy Page, Keith Richard's, Eric ClappedOut etc etc but how the fuck is Johnny fucking Marr not mentioned in the same breath?

He was absolutely superb last night...... it was a joy to be there in Boston watching a Mancumian City fan bringing the house down......

It's a joint headline tour, I believe. So sometimes Johnny Marr goes on first; sometimes James do. I think.

Not sure I could watch James playing such short sets. It would be very frustrating when they go off after only 75 minutes! Still the best live band on the planet.

No it was James first every night. No other support band.

She was Gail Potter (platts) bezzie on the show and Gail has be late sixties and so a similar age for Susie.

This is terrible news. I have a photo with me and my kids, in the iconic doorway. Wonder if Morrissey or Marr will donate a few bob?
