In my opinion id say that that set of oasis songs is slightly better than your list of Smiths songs.

Oasis were a great live band, but lets face it, it's all been downhill since that brilliant debut. Some of their albums are just shite.

Buckcherry's debut was a proper rock n roll record too, that was about 1999.

like Oasis,but without doubt The Smiths win every time for sheer song writing depth !
