Simpson-Pusey to Celtic?
Unless things change, I would not be surprised if the ‘someone else’ ends up being Khusanov. Not saying I want that, but if established players cannot be moved on, then it becomes a possibility.

They have kounde. Buying another right back for that price wouldn’t make senseYes... Barça also considered Vanderson as a right-back target, but they gave up on him because he "didn't fit their needs." Now Milan are very interested in him.
It reminds me of Wesley — he looked great, but City felt he couldn't adapt to the first team, so he went to Roma. Maybe City and Barça share the same view.

You’re spot on regarding keepers.
By my maths even after the sale of a keeper and loaning out Reis, we need to move 2 foreign players so likely loan to Echeverri and move one more foreign player. The likeliest candidates are Akanji, Gundogan or Kovacic.
More left field are Nico, less likely as only joined in January and gives us athleticism that the older lads don’t. Nunes, unlikely as we don’t have right backs. Khusanov, unlikely as we could have the same issues with our older defenders. Yes Gvardiol is probably going to be a centre back with RAN at left back but given the unreliability of Ake and Stones, we’d be a Dias injury from crisis.
Only one of Phillips or Grealish needs to go, though likely both will.

Khusanov? Would be weird, but yeah, why not.
The issue with loaning Khusanov is the consistent injury issues with Ake and Stones. Akanji also missed 10 league games with injury last season. Simpson Pusey played 6 first team matches last season and Khusanov played 9 games himself. Loaning him out after already loaning out Reis would be incredibly risky.

It's another bang average transfer window. Decent left back, not world class, yet. No effing right.
Still waifer thin in terms of true quality and a manager who is due to leave next season.
Nothing has been solved.
However, sign Tino and its getting there.

Yep. His lack of communication surely is a factor when a decision is made between him or say Akanji or Kova.If he’s not traveling to Palermo, as has been reported, then, assuming he’s fit, the case for him having to go elsewhere is strengthening.
And as part of his personality that won't change much over time IMO.
Maybe a loan would do him well - he wanted more minutes anyway...
