We see things differently. I hope he succeeds but he’s had plenty of time to impress and develop and for me he’s not good enough
 
We need to start both Rodri and Nico g in midfield or even Nico r to stop that midfield creaking and then instead of death by a million passes start transitioning faster so that Haaland can start running onto balls instead of waiting for ages for it ti drop into the box .

A little harsh reaching such sweeping conclusions on a player just returning from injury. Sold in the summer? Come on. We are talking a top 3 creator of chances in the League here?

Nah! Cant agree with that.
 
I'll never fathom why we weren't in for Zubamendi last year. He's a class act, I wanted him for us when I saw him at the Euros. And then Arse got him.

The squad planning in the last 3 years has been meh to say the least, and now we are feeling the repercussions.

Agreed on part 2 about quicker transitions and Nico G starting next to Rodri.

Hope it doesn't become a Marmoush situation where Pep decides only one can ever start at a time.

Presently to keep both fresh and Rodri minutes capped. I understand why they are only being used as direct subs. But once both are fully fit, look forward to them playing together. But for now, managing both their minutes might be a more important priority.

He is far better than Grealish. Also far better than most winger in the league. I cant name 3 better wingers in the league.
 
What we need is consistency. Not flashy don't have to be world class just consistent.

Looking at recruitment targets so far

Guehi has been consistently been a 7/10 this season not world class just effective

Semenyo the same 7/10 performer never drops below that

Kayode the same 7/10 average, lowest performance this season he was a 6/10

Anderson average performance rating of 7/10

They are not blowing the league away all four are just consistent.

Agree. When both fit should be double pivot with Rodri/Gonzalez with Doku left, Semenyo right and EITHER Foden or Cherki in the 10 behind Haaland. That would be some midfield/attack.

Yep it’s what happens when you come back from injury. Got 2-3 players marking you and there’s only 1 in the box. Great weapon to have when everyone else is chipping in. Better than savinio .

Respectfully, he works hard but Nico G is not good enough on the ball to be playing in our midfield. He hasn’t got the passing range to break the lines or play the diagonals over the top for players to run onto. There are a lot of players in our squad who are good players but who are not good enough for the level we want to be at even as squad players, he’s one of them.

Get Anderson in this summer, he can play alongside Rodri or instead of him. If Rodri leaves, we need Anderson + another.
