With a bit of luck, heres how we line up at the swap next weekend
Yea, but moving forward it’s miles off the level required if that’s the first 11.

Miles off? I don’t know about that.Yea, but moving forward it’s miles off the level required if that’s the first 11.

2 fullbacks short for startersMiles off? I don’t know about that.
100% agreeYea, but moving forward it’s miles off the level required if that’s the first 11.
Maybe harsh but it’s how I see itA little harsh reaching such sweeping conclusions on a player just returning from injury. Sold in the summer? Come on. We are talking a top 3 creator of chances in the League here?
Nah! Cant agree with that.
NOR and Nunes are our fullbacks though. NOR won’t be moving into midfield for the foreseeable future and there aren’t many better RBs than Nunes that are actually attainable.2 fullbacks short for starters
I like khusonov but as pep said he needs to develop with the ball at his feet

It’s not bad, I just don’t rate any of the wing players. Semenyo instantly comes in as our best winger but is he even good enough for the long term? 5 years ago he would of been our 4th choice winger…Miles off? I don’t know about that.

Wingers need to start producing goals and assists to make it a great line-up. Dribbling past players with no end product adds nothing.Probably only a CB (Gvardiol/Dias) and a midfielder short of being a very good XI. It's the bench options come August that would concern me, only Foden, Reijnders (give him a second season) and Marmoush as decent senior attacking options to come off the bench or come into the side in the event of injury/suspension (Mukasa/Echeverri to come in as youth options at a real push).
And the medical has already been done! And a backup for big Earl

I’m with you on the wing players Sav and Doku not at the level we needIt’s not bad, I just don’t rate any of the wing players. Semenyo instantly comes in as our best winger but is he even good enough for the long term? 5 years ago he would of been our 4th choice winger…
100% Liveramento, Guehi, Anderson, Semenyo and Rogers in. Out, Doku, Sav, Lewis, Ake, Stones, Ortaga, Phillips, Akanji, Bob, Grealish, Kova, Bernado and Marmoush. Should be enough outgoing there to fund a large chunk of the purchases. Any gaps backups should be filled by the EDS100%. Nico O is definitely good enough as a squad option. Pep prefers Nunes to Lewis, so leave Nunes as a squad option behind a first choice right back. When Gvardiol is fit let him be first choice LB in big games and RAN and Nico O rotating.
Anderson or similar needs to be in that midfield with Rodri. Then we still need imo an X factor winger to replace what De Bruyne used to give us (being an absolute best in class game changer albeit from a different position but e.g what a Rogers or Olise would become in this side)
E.g first 11 for big games
Donnarumma
Livramento Dias Guehi Gvardiol
Rodri Anderson
Olise Foden Semenyo
Haaland
Subs: keeper, Nunes, Cherki, Reijnders, Nico O, Rayan AN, Marmoush, Doku, Khusanov
That’s more like the standard of first 11 & squad we’ve had in the past and we need that level back again if we are serious about getting back to the top of the game.
One last dance?
Any team that has Foden coming off the bench is not miles off i dont think.Yea, but moving forward it’s miles off the level required if that’s the first 11.
