It's hard to recruit if tha manager, a great manager, is only going to be around for 2 year's.
It has taken m9st of the players that long to bed in.
We need a 5 year commitment from Pep, or its a huge thanks to him and all the best for his future.

Nonsense, there is not a manager in football that can guarantee to be around more than 2 years.

a 2 year commitment from Pep after already doing 8 is incredible.
 
We deffo need a huge overhaul but these kind of offs do happen, not this severe ans that's due to mismanagement, but this team is better than what they're currently showing

Think we need to get rid of Walker, Gundogan, one (or both) of Stones/Ake and one (or both) of KDB/Bernardo. Argue you'd sell one of Grelaish or Nunes as well

Right back, commanding CB, commanding DM, goalscoring or assist machien AM (either winger or central) and a backup striker at a bare minimum

And these are minimums

The club need to be aggressive, obviously we need to wait for the charges verdict but it's time to flex our muscles

Ederson, Dias, Akanji, Gvardiol, Rodri, Kovacic, Nunes, Foden, Doku, Savio, Bobb, Haaland is a solid foundation but needs some proper QUALITY additions

Keep one of Ake or Stones and ship the other. Buy a young fast centre back who has good potential. Sell JWE and buy a proper overlapping left back. Need a right back too. A dm cover for rodri, someone who is 20 or 21 and can study from rodri and replace rodri in 3 years time as a first choice. Sell one of bernie or grealish and keep one. Need two cms and an am. Musiala yes but who will be the two number 8's (not nunes)? A goal scoring winger, rodrigo from real would be great now he is no longer a first choice there. And a replacement for alvarez,/ backup from Haaland, where have tevez/aguero/falcao type of strikers gone. They dont come along now. A massive rebuild required.

I'm not convinced that Rico will ever be as good as we need him to be. Akanji and Kova maybe short term, I'm far from convinced about Doku and Savio, I think they flatter and Savio is nowhere near a rounded attack/defend wide player with a killer end pass/cross/shot. It really depends if there are better players out there and available. All the others could be let go if we can, legends or not. I think it will take us a couple of seasons to be competitive with the elite again. We have been too busy winning trophies to majorly upgrade the squad and the fall off with ageing legs feels inevitable. Pep is often criticised for just being able to manage elite teams. The next two years will prove he can rebuild successfully.

Realistically we need

a top level LB & RB.

A quality DM to back up Rodri
2 elite level CMs

Another top striker to either play with Haaland or back him up.

We need to stop signing players who might come good. We need players in the Musiila, Wirtz, Rodrigo bracket. Proven players!

And we are in desperate need for Pace. We have no one apart from Haaland and Sav who can turn on the burners.

We have enough young players, we need quality additions and Barella is that, 28 isn't old he can give us +5 years the way he plays

Whether he'd leave Inter is another question
