KDB will leave. The club won't be giving him £150k a week to come off the bench, and I think the club will finally learn about being over sentimental about legend players and realise that going forward we have to let him go for the best.

4 of the top 6 highest paid players in the entire Premier League are Haaland(£525k), KDB(£400k), Bernardo(£300k) and Grealish (£300k).

Haaland will obviously stay, but the rest will be pushed to leave in my opinion as the club will want those wages for the rebuild.

All great points.

Of we were bringing Wirtz in that’s a big wage. Anyone else will be on the same level as the rest of the squad, which is really impressive given how talented they are and how much other clubs pay.

Will Bernado attract any teams this summer, when in the form of his life with an apparent price tag no one came in for him.

With Gundo I did think Turkey was the move and seen them talk about him out there. But will he really want to move 3 years in a row if he has the choice not to. I know it’s the game etc. just feels like he’d only pursue it if he always wanted that move.

They do. In fact, its the most common way older players drop off.

Sudden and drastic. Their bodies break down and it stops matching their mind and past capacity.

Not a chance Stones commands 15 mil...I doubt 7 players leave in one window either
 
We are built to play and succeed in the mold of Barcelona. So we need to recruit players (especially on the spine of the team that exhibit those cohesion skills.

Rodri- yes
Gonzo - yes so far as a DM.
Ederson - Yes
Stones - Yes( as a defender )
Reis: Yes

I cant vouch for anyone else.

Everyone else is really a bit below the standard for their position. And we can only carry 2 players down the spine who are not up to standard for their position or else our playing style slows down drastically or gets very clunky

Currently, based on the supremacy of their bother talents, Khusanov and Erling are the 2 we should carry. Everyone else has to be an exquisite passer in the middle or play on the outside.

If you are not a top end passer for your position, you have to play outside or be 1 of the 2 below par in the spine.

So Gvardiol, Foden, Marmoush, Doku, Savio, Ake, Dias, all either should only play in the middle in place of 1 of the 2 below par middle players.

Kevin, Gundo, Kova and Bernie are in the category of too old, and we can only afford carrying 1 at a time also.


We have to get back to a cohesive ball dominant team that moves the ball quickly and accurately.

I eas excited to see us her back to the pressure tactics of years past against Brighton.

Now we need to couple that press with excellent passing schemes to get back to a semblance of pur old self.

@Ben123 I see Cambiaso as a January option when the market was limited. Bur it didn't work out. I sense he wants to come based on how his agent has been talking.

This reminds me of the Octopus. We tried to get him to shore up our leaky midfield in the Winter, didn't work out coz he signed a new deal. But instead of re-examining the whole market in thr summer, we went narrow vision and acquired him just coz we tried in the winter prior. Him and the Mangler. I hated both signings, and neither turned out well.

We simply shouldn't limit ourselves to the winter market. Summer is an open market. We should find s perfect match. Not a makeshift RB who really is a left back.

Not sure there’s many better options on the market though really? Certainly don’t think there’s a better technical player that’s going to be available ( could well be wrong tho). Pretty sure we identified him as our top target for a full back and we will be back in the summer. At hopefully a cut price

That's depressing. If he is the best our scouts can find to replace the Premier leagues greatest ever RB. That's just depressing.

He is such a milk toast run of the mill fullback

order of preference:
1. Vanderson, Monaco
2. Livramento, Newcastle
3. Ivan Fresneda, Sporting ( The most like Kyle Walker) and the youngest.
4. Frimpong: if we are switching to 3 at the back.

Guys we probably cant get who are good also.

Hakimi - best overall. But at a top club.
Reece James - injury prone and at a ig club
Malo Gusto - Same as above
Anau Martinez - I think we are not allowed to trade with Girona. Will be a great scheme fit.


Those are the obvious ones. I even bringing back Yan Couto more than going for Cambiaso.

It strikes me as a collosal waste of money.

El Hilali and Fernandes linked as well awhile ago now though. (seen little of either though)​

I like Cambiaso but would prefer a RB who can play LB rather than his way around ​
